Frequently asked questions
For AI teams, contributors and research participants.
What is Pukot?
Pukot is a global human-judgment and AI evaluation data platform for AI evaluation, research, benchmarking and bounded operational decisions. It structures questions, routes work to appropriate contributors, measures response quality and returns usable evidence.
Where is Pukot based?
Pukot operates as a global remote company. Corporate domicile is a legal and commercial choice and does not define the service, contributor network or pricing model.
Is Pukot a BPO, call center or offshore staffing provider?
No. Pukot sells scoped data, evaluation, research and human-judgment outcomes. It does not sell low-cost seats, call-center capacity or geography-based labor arbitrage.
How is enterprise pricing set?
Pricing is based on project scope, difficulty, quality requirements, speed, scarcity, required evidence and the value of the outcome. Contributor location is not used as the commercial anchor.
What can teams use Pukot for?
Typical uses include AI evaluation, classification, comparison, preference testing, forecasting, benchmarking, exception handling and other bounded questions where independent human judgment adds value.
Can projects target a particular market or language?
Yes. Geography, language, culture or domain can be specified when they are material to the project. They are project parameters, not the identity of the company.
What does joining the contributor network mean?
It means creating an initial profile so Pukot can consider you for relevant programs. Access is opened in controlled cohorts. A submitted profile does not guarantee admission, tasks, work, income or rewards.
Why complete a profile or answer qualification questions?
Profile information and short optional qualification questions can create evidence about your languages, knowledge, task-specific skills and other capabilities. Better evidence can improve the range of programs for which you may be considered. Activity itself is not treated as money or a guaranteed reward.
Does Pukot give everyone one overall score?
No. Someone can be highly useful for one kind of task and less useful for another. Pukot aims to measure task-specific capability, reliability and fit rather than reduce contributors to one universal competence score.
Is contributor participation a job?
No. Public Pukot Node participation is voluntary and flexible. There is no guaranteed workload, employment relationship, minimum number of tasks or guaranteed income unless a separate agreement expressly says otherwise.
Do contributors have to answer every day?
No. Contributors may participate as much or as little as they want, subject to limits for a particular study.
Will contributors be paid?
Some study cycles include cash rewards. Rewards vary by study and are not guaranteed. A study may use a capped reward pool, with individual allocation influenced by response quality, reliability and eligibility.
If someone answers more questions, do they get paid more?
Not necessarily. Pukot values useful, reliable answers rather than raw volume. A smaller number of strong answers can be more valuable than many low-quality answers.
Can profile-building become unpaid production work?
It should not. Qualification and profile-building questions are intended to be bounded and diagnostic. Where a task is commercially useful production work, the applicable project, study or reward terms should govern it rather than presenting it as profile completion.
How are rewards paid?
Eligible rewards are paid using methods specified for the relevant study. The payment method is confirmed when a reward is due.
Who can join?
The current public contributor intake is for people aged 18 or older. Creating a profile does not guarantee admission to a study or program.
What languages are supported?
English is the canonical source language. Participant-facing study content may be localized into languages required by a project while preserving the original answer space and recording the delivered rendition.
How does Pukot judge whether an answer is useful?
Pukot can consider whether the answer is valid and relevant, whether it adds information, the contributor's demonstrated reliability, whether it improves coverage and, where available, how it compares with later outcomes or ground truth.
What happens to contributor answers?
Responses may be analyzed with other responses, compared with machine outputs, expert review or later outcomes, and used for research, evaluation, datasets and Pukot product development as described in the Privacy Policy.
Can a contributor stop participating?
Yes. Participation may be stopped at any time, subject to any rights already granted for responses previously submitted and lawful retention requirements.
