Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Pukot, including the website, contributor profile and eligibility flows, Pukot Node participation, study cohorts, enterprise pilot requests and related services. By submitting a Pukot form or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Global service

Pukot operates as a fully remote global service. Corporate domicile, contributor location and project geography may vary. Unless a project specifically requires a location, language, market or residency attribute, geography does not define the service or its commercial value.

2. Age and eligibility

The current public contributor intake is for people aged 18 or older. Study eligibility may include additional criteria. Creating a profile or joining the contributor network does not guarantee admission to any study or program.

3. Controlled access

Pukot is an early-stage service and may change, pause, restrict or discontinue features at any time. Pilot and contributor access may be invitation-only or opened in controlled cohorts. Creating a profile or submitting an intake request does not guarantee access, work, compensation, minimum task volume, a reward or continued participation.

4. Profile and qualification activity

Profile information and bounded qualification questions may be used to understand languages, knowledge, task-specific capabilities, reliability and potential fit for future programs. Completing more profile activity does not create a monetary balance or entitlement to future work. Qualification activity is intended to be diagnostic rather than a substitute for commercially useful production work.

5. Participation

If you participate as a Pukot Node, you agree to provide your own judgment rather than copy another person's answer or deliberately manipulate results. You may skip a task when you cannot answer it. Pukot may use quality checks, calibration tasks and other methods to evaluate responses and contributor reliability.

6. Rewards and compensation

Some study cycles include cash rewards and others do not. Rewards are not guaranteed. Each study may use a capped reward pool. The amount released may depend on the usefulness of the cohort's results, while individual allocation may consider response quality, reliability and eligibility. Contributing more does not necessarily mean receiving more. Where a specific task or project has separately stated payment terms, those specific terms apply.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, contributor participation does not create employment, exclusivity, guaranteed hours or guaranteed income.

7. Enterprise services

Enterprise pilots and commercial projects are scoped individually. Pricing and deliverables may reflect problem complexity, quality requirements, speed, scarcity, required evidence, project risk and commercial value. A separate commercial agreement overrides these public Terms where the two conflict.

8. Use of responses

You grant Pukot permission to store, analyze, reproduce, transform, combine and use responses and interaction data to operate, evaluate, improve and commercialize Pukot products, datasets, services and research, subject to the Privacy Policy and any project-specific agreement.

9. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access, submit fraudulent information, abuse referral or reward programs, impersonate another person, manipulate study results, or use Pukot unlawfully.

10. Confidential material

Some tasks may contain non-public information. Where a task is marked confidential or is clearly non-public, you agree not to share it outside the Pukot task or participation process except where lawfully required.

11. Intellectual property

Pukot and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, task systems, scoring methods, designs and other proprietary material. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Pukot intellectual property to you.

12. No warranties

Pukot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Pukot makes no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or that participation will produce any particular outcome.

13. Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, Pukot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

14. Suspension and termination

Pukot may suspend or end access for operational, quality, security, abuse, contractual or legal reasons. Contributors may stop participating at any time.

15. Governing arrangements

Where a specific commercial agreement, study notice or participant agreement identifies a contracting entity, governing law or dispute process, that document controls for the relevant relationship. These public Terms do not attempt to exclude mandatory rights that apply by law.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms as Pukot develops. A new effective date or version will identify material revisions.
